Acklins, Crooked Island and Long Cay wrap around the Bight of Acklins, a lagoon so shallow it is often no deeper than knee height even five miles offshore. Local certified guides lead you on the flats, and Turtle Sound’s mangrove channels on Crooked Island are full of turtles and birds.
