About Grand Bahama: Freeport, Lucaya and the national parks

Freeport is the second-largest city in The Bahamas, with upscale resorts, cultural sites and ecological wonders. Port Lucaya Marketplace has the shops and the live music in Count Basie Square. Lucayan National Park protects vast underwater caves and Gold Rock Beach, and Peterson Cay, a mile offshore, is the smallest national park in the country at 1.5 acres.
