About Lucayan National Park
Established in 1982, Lucayan National Park protects one of the largest underwater cave systems in the world, with two caves open to the public (swimming in them is prohibited). Nature trails and boardwalks lead through a variety of ecosystems, and the park also takes in Gold Rock Beach, where low tide stretches the sand far out to sea.
