About Exuma Cays Land & Sea Park

The Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park was created in 1958 as the first land-and-sea park in the world, and it was the wider Caribbean’s first no-take reserve, so all fishing is prohibited. Its 176 square miles of cays, beaches and reefs are run by the Bahamas National Trust from Warderick Wells. Boaters pay anchorage or mooring fees online through PayExumaPark, and the private islands inside the park are off limits.
